THE SPACE BETWEEN: HOW TO TRUST YOURSELF WHEN THE RESULTS HAVEN’T SHOWN UP YET
You jumped off the cliff. You showed up and did the brave thing by saying yes to change.
Now, you find yourself amid it all—navigating that delicate space between “I’m ready” and “It’s happening,” between the first step and the visible results, and between who you were and who you are becoming.
This season often goes unmentioned, yet it deserves its own chapter. Many people give up at this stage—not because they lack determination, but because they fail to recognize this phase for what it truly is.
A sacred place of becoming.
The Middle Doesn’t Mean You’re Lost
It means you’re in motion.
You’ve already done something bold—you said yes to yourself. You started. You are doing it. You’re moving forward, even if it doesn’t feel that way.
But here’s the thing no one tells you:
Progress often looks like stillness before it looks like success.
This in-between phase can feel quiet, even invisible. You’re putting in the effort, yet the results aren’t clear. The money hasn’t come in. The offer hasn’t sold. The outcome you’re hoping for hasn’t quite arrived.
This is not failure.
This is not a sign to quit.
This is part of the work.
When It Feels Like Nothing Is Happening
This season teaches you how to lead yourself when there’s no applause.
How to trust your path without needing instant proof.
How to keep going without burning out.
And most of all, how to show up without shrinking.
Here’s what’s helped me stay grounded in the space between:
1. Expand Through Proximity
Surround yourself with people who are just a few steps ahead. Not to compare, but to stay close to what’s possible.
Let their progress remind you that your own is on the way.
Try this:
Make a list of 3 people you admire.
Ask:
What quality in them am I being called to grow in myself right now?
2. Regulate Before You React
You don’t need to push harder.
You need to stay steady. Your nervous system is your compass.
If you’re spiraling, pause. Ground. Come back.
Try this:
Breathe. Move. Go outside.
Then ask:
What’s one thing I can do from a place of trust, not fear?
3. Remember This Is the Work
Yes, results matter. But becoming the version of you who can hold those results—that’s the transformation.
This isn’t wasted time.
This is where your roots grow.
Try this:
Use my free Trust Tracker every Sunday.
Reflect on the quiet wins, the emotional growth, the unseen momentum.
Build evidence that you’re not stuck. You’re becoming.
You’re Not Behind. You’re in the Middle.
This season can feel lonely.
But you’re not alone. And you’re not late.
This isn’t a pause.
It’s preparation.
Your time is coming. And when it does, you’ll be ready—not because you rushed through the in-between, but because you honored it.
So if you’re here—doing the work, showing up, staying steady—I see you.
You’re in the middle.
And that’s not a setback.
It’s a sacred step.
